Almost every "Upster isn't working" report traces back to a permission that wasn't granted (or got revoked). Here's the checklist:
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, then Upster, then Cancel Subscription. We cannot cancel on your behalf.
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the Upster charge, and request a refund. Apple's refund policy applies.
Open Upster, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed into the same Apple ID you used to subscribe. Restoration uses Apple's receipt validation.
Open iOS Settings, scroll to Upster, and confirm Motion & Fitness and Health permissions are enabled. Then open the Health app, tap your profile, then Apps and Services, then Upster, and confirm step-count read access is on.
Check Settings → Notifications → Upster and confirm notifications are allowed. Inside Upster, confirm your active hours include the current time and that nudges are not silenced. If you granted Calendar access, an active meeting will suppress nudges.
Yes. Upster falls back to Core Motion when Apple Health is unavailable. Granting Health access improves accuracy but is not required.
